playlist therapy

i'm a big fan of making playlists. it was mix cd's for awhile but that got alittle out of control. i was having this discussion with Court and she reminded me that "playlist are the new mix cds."so true and you don't have 1,000 cds everywhere. Anyway- the point of all of that- i found this website that made an Obama-won-the-election playlist called Hell Yeah, America! that is totally up my music alley! it is really good and you should give it a listen

Death and All of His Friends by Coldplay. The title sounds a little Debbie Downer but the lyrics are actually sweet and inspirational. Maybe it's because it's the day after the election but these lyrics just felt right for today...

I'm feeling very proud to be an American today! It's so amazing that so many people exercised their right as Americans to VOTE! I think we forget too easily people around the world that don't have this privilege.

I'm am also a sleepy American who stayed up very late to watch President-elect Obama give his speech.

Yay America!!
