so excited for the start of college basketball!! i've missed my duke boys ever so much! although i do see them randomly around campus. my best "i-ran-into-a-duke-basketball-player" story was standing next to Brian Zoubek in line at Brugger's. he is MASSIVE! tall just isn't an accurate enough word. i came up to about his elbow. he ordered a peanut butter and jelly bagel which i thought was cute and funny. this giant man ordered a meal for a kid.

i love that Gap is using the SNL guys in their holiday marketing this year. i wonder if there will be giant posters of them hanging over the denim wall?? Gap does always seems to have good marketing. i remember when i first worked there and they had a GIANT poster of ryan adams. so weird to think of him in a Gap ad...

playlist therapy

i'm a big fan of making playlists. it was mix cd's for awhile but that got alittle out of control. i was having this discussion with Court and she reminded me that "playlist are the new mix cds."so true and you don't have 1,000 cds everywhere. Anyway- the point of all of that- i found this website that made an Obama-won-the-election playlist called Hell Yeah, America! that is totally up my music alley! it is really good and you should give it a listen

I'm feeling very proud to be an American today! It's so amazing that so many people exercised their right as Americans to VOTE! I think we forget too easily people around the world that don't have this privilege.

I'm am also a sleepy American who stayed up very late to watch President-elect Obama give his speech.
